Dolly Parton's Glad Scrutiny on Jessica's Weight Is Dying Down PDF Print E-mail

Dolly Parton, whom Jessica Simpson has described as her idol, is glad scrutiny on the 28-year-old singer's weight seems to be dying down."She's obviously an amazing and talented singer -- and one with real heart," Parton told Usmagazine.com Monday at the Broadway opening night of 33 Variations in NYC. "I just wish people would focus on her voice -- that's what she's doing.That's why she's so special. She's a beautiful girl." 

Apparently, Parton is jealous because the Simpson weight controversy is drawing attention from her old and dilapidated fun-bags.  Jessica obviously has the right idol here, a mediocre talent getting by on her ample (and surgically augmented) bosom.  If Jessicahadn't built a career on her (I think average) looks and modest (if any)

talent, no one would care if she was packing on the pounds.

But since her celebrity house of cards is built upon a foundation of looks and cleaveage, people are going to notice when you become a porker, trotting around barbeques wearing ill-fitting jeans and arm-inappropriate shirts.  Jessica, just be happy that people are still talking about your fat ass! Dolly, shut your surgically overdone pie hole.
